These photos are from two separate Winkler Oven projects
completed by T&T. This customer owned
a Winkler Tunnel Oven and had contacted many other vendors over
many years but had no success in resolving the following
issues:
Steam distribution and belt tracking -- The oven belt
completely cut through the side of the baking chamber, causing
the collapse of the whole side of the oven in the subject
area.
The heat exchanger bed warped upward in the first two sections
due to high residual heat. This made the
tracking of the mesh belt impossible.
Incorrectly designed and installed steam injectors caused too
much condensation in the steam delivery system that
consequently destroyed the structural integrity of the steam
zone.
The
before and after photos demonstrate the extent of damage and its
repair progress. Using its on site engineering, T&T
completed this repair within the scheduled allocated downtime
and within the customer’s budget.
